On Monday, June 22, Bellevue Police arrested 35-year-old Justin Matthew Gray Bacani for the murder of 29-year-old Annalise Harrison.
On February 7, Bellevue Police and Fire responded to a vacant apartment in the 14100 block of Southeast Sixth Street, where they found Harrison's body (identified by the King County medical examiner). Detectives located signs of a struggle in the apartment, including blood that had been cleaned up.
Multiple search warrants were served, yielding evidence that identified Bacani as a suspect and placed him in the apartment at the time of death.
The King County Medical Examiner's Office has ruled the cause of death as asphyxia by strangulation. At this time, Bacani remains in custody at the King County Jail, charged with second-degree murder.
