Starting July 6 and through early 2016, 112th Avenue Southeast will be reduced to one southbound and one northbound lane for various segments between Bellevue Way Southeast and north of Southeast Eighth Street due to sewer improvement work by Bellevue Utilities.
The Bellefield Sewer improvements are needed to increase sewer capacity that will serve the downtown area as it continues to grow, and to replace aging infrastructure.
Work hours will be between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with potential weekend and evening work for limited periods as necessary for working through intersections. Lane reductions will remain in place during both work and non-work hours. Expect heavy equipment, delivery of materials, construction noise and traffic delays.
