The third annual Flavors of India will feature a full weekend of fun at Bellevue Downtown Park August 30-31. Attractions will include yoga demonstrations, art and cultural displays, children's activities including Indian puppet making, various stage performances and a free food, prepared fresh on-site.
The event will also include a dance contest and Bollywood dance party hosted by Bollywood entertainer DJ Prashant on Saturday. Sunday's main-stage event will be a live concert by the Yoginis Indian Jazz Project, a fusion band of Indian classical, American jazz and Latin and Caribbean rhythms.
Flavors of India is organized by the Vedic Cultural Center of Sammamish with support from the City of Bellevue, including grants from the city's arts commission. If you have questions, email info@flavorsofindia.us.
