The City of Bellevue will hold its spring Residential Recycling Collection Day on Saturday, May 10, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., at First Presbyterian Church of Bellevue, 1717 Bellevue Way NE. Televisions, computers, electronic equipment, appliances, scrap metal, auto batteries, porcelain sinks and toilets, tires, mattresses and other items will be accepted.
There will be a charge for some items. Hazardous waste such as paint, pesticides, motor oil and antifreeze will NOT be accepted. Shredding will not be accepted until the fall event in October. Each Bellevue household was sent a mailer with details of what is and isn’t accepted. The flier is also available at Utilities.
