Who knew emergency preparedness comes with a backbeat and catchy lyrics?
The latest edition of Lake to Lake, a news show about Bellevue, features the music video "Ways to Survive," performed by an animated family of Sasquatches called Liv and the Survivors. The singer whose voice powers the video -- an administrator in Bellevue's Officer of Emergency Management -- is revealed.
Also in the December show, available on the city's YouTube channel and Bellevue TV page, you'll find stories on this year's Magic Season, the first-ever Bellevue Essentials graduating class and remarks by Ford Roosevelt, an educator and grandson of President Franklin D. Roosevelt, at a recent Grad Nation conference.
Lake to Lake is produced by Bellevue TV with help from students at Bellevue College.
