    There is an almost scary amount of fun Halloween events for all ages and abilities this week in Bellevue. Events include:

    Halloween Howl, Friday, 7-9 p.m., Highland Community Center, 14224 Bel-Red Road. A dance for people ages 16 and older with intellectual disabilities. Preregistration is encouraged. Admission is $9-$11. To register and for more information, call 425-452-6105.

    The Mummy's Revenge, Friday through Nov. 3 at the Bellevue Youth Theatre, 16661 Northup Way. A mummy comes to life in a thrilling Halloween adventure for all ages. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. The cost is $10-$12. For tickets and more information, call 425-452 -7155 or email BYT@bellevuewa.gov.

    Spookfest, Friday and Saturday at South Bellevue Community Center, 14509 SE Newport Way, features four Halloween events rolled into one fun weekend. To register and for more information about Spookfest events, call 425-452-4240 or email sbcc@bellevuewa.gov.:

    • Haunted Miniature Golf, Friday and Saturday, 7 to 10 p.m. Miniature golf is fun, but playing it in a dark, haunted atmosphere is even better. Ages 7 & up. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Cost: $5. Preregistration is not required, though you may pre-register.
    • Drop in Halloween Indoor Miniature Golf, Saturday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Play nine holes of miniature golf with a Halloween theme! Fun for the whole family. Ages: 5 & up. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Cost: $3- $4.
    • Spookfest Pancake Breakfast, Saturday, 8:30 to 10 a.m., $5 pre-registration required. A round of miniature golf is included with admission.
    • Great SBCC Pumpkin Race, Saturday, 10 a.m. to noon. A twist on the classic pinewood derby. Bring your decorated pumpkin, complete with wheels, to compete in Bellevue’s third annual Pumpkin Race. Upon registration, you will receive basic directions to prepare your pumpkin for race day. Individuals, families and groups are encouraged participate and register. Free for individuals and small groups; $17 if supplies are needed and $25 for commercial entries. Pre-registration is required.

    Pumpkin Pals, Saturday, 10 to 11:30 a.m. at Northwest Arts Center, 9825 NE 24th St. Halloween art, fun music, a pumpkin relay race and yummy snacks are some of the happy activities planned for ages 2 to 5. The cost is $20-$25. Pre-registration is required. For more information and to register, call 425-452-4106.
