For this, the third Eastside Muslim and Immigrant Safety Forum, police chiefs from five cities will give presentations to help immigrants feel and be safe.
Dinner will be served at the event, Thursday, Feb. 21, 6-9 p.m., at Sammamish High School in Bellevue, and child care will be provided.
The presentations will be from the police chiefs of Redmond, Bellevue, Sammamish, Kirkland and Issaquah. Following the presentations, there will be a 45-minute period for small group discussions.
The event is organized by the Muslim Community and Neighborhood Association, with the Bellevue Police Department co-hosting. Please register.
