Bellevue Police are seeking information about a vehicle involved in a serious injury hit and run that occurred the night of Nov. 7, at the intersection of 140th Avenue Northeast and Northeast Eighth Street.
At approximately 6:24 p.m. officers responded to an injury traffic collision at the Shell Station at 14008 NE Eighth Street. The victim driver was exiting the gas station onto 140th Avenue and was struck at high speed by a late 1990s-early 2000s white Ford F-150 pickup truck. The pickup then fled north on 140th Avenue and has damage on the passenger side front corner and is missing the passenger side front headlight and mirror. The victim was driving a King County Ride Share van at the time of the collision and sustained serious injuries and was taken to Overlake Hospital.
Images from the traffic camera captured the suspect vehicle speeding away after the collision. Video from the traffic cameras is available.
