On Saturday, October 24, 2020, the protest ended peacefully, with no one getting hurt and no damage. During the demonstration, Bellevue police officers provided the protesters a safe space as they marched in the street and ensured motorists' safety in the intersection by closing streets. Chief Steve Mylett asked Mayor Lynn Robinson to institute a civil emergency when he witnessed suspicious activity. The Chief answers questions about the protest in the video link below.
