Danza Azteca performers dance in Aztec costumes on a stage at Crossroads Park.

The City of Bellevue is now accepting applications from performers and cultural groups for the 2026 Bellevue International Festival, taking place Saturday, Aug. 8, at Crossroads Park. The annual celebration highlights the rich cultural diversity, artistic expression and global traditions of Bellevue’s community.

The festival brings together residents and visitors of all backgrounds through live performances, cultural experiences, art, food and interactive activities. Performers selected for the festival will help create an inclusive, welcoming environment that fosters cross-cultural connection and belonging.

Bellevue welcomes submissions from individuals and groups offering performances that:

  • Celebrate cultural traditions or global artistic practices
  • Are engaging, family-friendly and suitable for a public audience
  • Demonstrate artistic quality and cultural authenticity
  • Support an inclusive, multicultural environment
  • Fit safely within festival staging and technical capacities

Preference may be given to performances that include live elements, visual vibrancy, audience engagement or representation of Bellevue’s diverse cultural communities. Performances typically run 10 to 30 minutes, depending on programming needs.

Performers can review details and submit their application by July 24 at Call for Performers.

For alternate formats, interpreters or reasonable accommodations please phone at least 48 hours in advance 425-452-7855 (voice) or email diversity@bellevuewa.gov.
