Parks events to be postponed through May
The city is extending closures of all community centers and parks facilities through April and postponing all Parks & Community Services events through May to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Parks and the Bellevue Golf Course remain open, but social distancing is still recommended. Facility closures include:
- Belleve Aquatic Center
- Bellevue Botanical Garden Aaron Education Center (garden is still open)
- Bellevue Youth Theatre
- Crossroads Community Center
- Crossroads Par 3 Golf Course
- Highland Community Center
- Kelsey Creek Farm (farm is still open for animal viewing)
- Lake Hills Greenbelt Ranger Station
- Lewis Creek Visitor Center
- Mercer Slough Environmental Education Center
- North Bellevue Community Center
- Northwest Arts Center
- South Bellevue Community Center
- Robinswood Tennis Center
The closures will be reevaluated at the end of April.
All Parks & Community Services events and rentals, including for ball fields, will be canceled through May. The department will not take new requests for rentals through May.
Updates will be posted when these events are rescheduled or information changes.
