The intersection at Lakemont Boulevard Southeast, Southeast 63rd Street and Southeast Cougar Mountain Way experiences extended queuing during the morning and afternoon commute periods.
The City of Bellevue has completed a draft alternatives analysis evaluating several different options to improve traffic operations at this intersection.
Residents are invited to learn about this project at an open house at Lewis Creek Park, 5808 Lakemont Boulevard, on Thursday, Aug. 22, 4:30-7 p.m. At the open house, attendees will have the opportunity to see the options that were developed in the analysis.
Residents will also be able to express their thoughts and ideas for what should be done to improve operations and safety at this intersection for drivers, pedestrians and bicyclists. Cookies and refreshments will be served.
