Bomb cyclone storm impacts

A bomb cyclone windstorm lashed Bellevue the night of Tuesday, Nov. 19, bringing down trees throughout the city and leaving hundreds of thousands without power. Most city facilities have power but some are on modified hours or closed due to power outages. Damages from the storm continue to impact Bellevue, prompting the mayor to proclaim a civil emergency in the city. Updates about the city's response will be posted at Bomb Cyclone Storm.

West Lake Sammamish residents with ideas for enhancing your neighborhood - now is the time! Please join city staff on Oct. 25 at the Phantom Lake Elementary School gym (1050 160th Ave. SE), 6:30-8 p.m., to kick off the Neighborhood Enhancement Program in West Lake Sammamish.

The introductory meeting will provide attendees with an overview of the exciting and popular city-funded program. Residents are encouraged to ask questions and to share their ideas for potential neighborhood enhancement projects. The event also offers a great opportunity for new residents to meet their neighbors and city staff, as well as for existing residents to reconnect with their community.
