A celebration of the life of former mayor Nan Campbell will be on Friday, January 24, at Youth Eastside Services, 999 164th Ave. NE, 1-3 p.m.
Campbell was on the Bellevue City Council for two terms, 1982-1989, serving as the city's first woman mayor 1988-1989. She was a civic leader before being on the council, and she continued to contribute to the community after leaving the council.
Campbell died on November 19, at age 87.
