Aida Lominadze, a 74-year-old Bellevue resident, went missing after a late night walk Wednesday in the Crossroads area.
Her sister reported that they became separated on their walk and Lominadze never returned home Thursday morning. She told police it wasn't unusual for them to go on walks at night.
Lominadze was last seen heading south on the 2200 block of 156th Avenue Northeast, wearing a short-sleeved white shirt, black and white checkered long skirt and grey tennis shoes. She speaks Russian, is 4'-8", and 155 pounds, with long dark grey hair and brown eyes. She has a mole on the left of her nose and wears pink, large-framed glasses.
She suffers from high blood pressure and diabetes. There are no other medical or mental issues, and she is in otherwise good health.
She was not carrying any cash or cell phone and does not have any medication with her. Lominadze is most likely disoriented since she just arrived from Russia a month ago.
Police did an extensive search of the area. Shopping mall security has been notified, as well as, local law enforcement agencies and hospitals. A dozen Search and Rescue members have been activated to assist in distributing flyers in the areas.
Should anyone locate Lominadze, please call 9-1-1 immediately.
