The City of Bellevue is offering four free workshops where participants can learn how to choose or even make cleaners that are less toxic and better for the environment.
Products such as baking soda, vinegar and Castile liquid soap can be mixed to create safe, inexpensive cleaners for use around the home.
Participants will receive a green cleaning kit and a certificate for completing the class, 7-8 p.m., on the following dates:
- October 22 at Newport Way Library;
- October 27 at North Bellevue Community Center;
- November 6 at City Hall; and
- November 10 at Highland Community Center.
