    Utilities crew worker Aundra Tuchscherer is on the job.

    In celebration of Women's History Month, the March edition of Lake to Lake features women who work in the Development Services, Utilities and Fire departments. They are proud to represent the growing opportunities for women in the field at the City of Bellevue.

    "I grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, and at the time, I didn't even know women could be firefighters," observes firefighter Jessica Slider. "For young girls to look up at a fire engine and see (engineer Emily Peterson) driving and me sitting in the back, that's huge."

    Aundra Tuchscherer, a skilled worker on a Utilities stormwater crew, and code compliance officer Heidi Skinner also share their stories in the city news show.
