Latest issue hits Bellevue mailboxes
The expansion of Mini City Hall into a larger space at Crossroads Bellevue mall is front-page news in the latest issue of It’s Your City. The long-awaited launch of light rail in Bellevue, a more equitable tree giveaway and a major update of the Comprehensive Plan are also featured.
To meet increasing demand for services, Mini City Hall recently moved into new quarters. A truly grand opening that drew more than 300 people and showcased the services available at the facility is included in the IYC article.
The opening of Sound Transit’s 2 Line, initially running as an Eastside “starter line,” is covered as well. Sidebars focus on a dedicated police unit keeping the rails safe and firefighters trained for emergencies on the route.
It’s Your City, a resident newsletter, is delivered to all Bellevue residential and business addresses three times a year, usually in February, June and October. Back issues are available in electronic form at It’s Your City.
