The building continues downtown and in BelRed, but Bellevue is still a "city in a park" too, as the summer issue of It's Your City confirms.
Both the "Complete the Circle" project at Downtown Park and construction of Meydenbauer Bay Park are covered. Councilmember Jennifer Robertson focuses on the city's long-standing investment in parks in her column.
It's Your City goes to all residents and businesses in Bellevue. The new issue also features coverage of:
- the effort to site a permanent men’s shelter in Bellevue, as well as adoption of an affordable housing strategy;
- construction beginning along the entire East Link light rail line and mitigation that will help limit impacts;
- key transportation projects, including those funded by the Neighborhood Safety levy; and
- an effort to use traffic video of near misses to prevent collisions before they happen.
