The City of Bellevue and King County District Court are launching Bellevue Community Court, an alternative to traditional court designed to increase safety for everyone by holding community court clients accountable, while helping them improve their lives. Expected to open in mid-July, Community Court is introduced in the summer issue of It's Your City, which is going to Bellevue addresses this week.
Other topics covered in the newsletter include:
- New Adventure Park: The old challenge course at Eastgate Park has been replaced with an adventure park that has challenging aerial features and a climbing wall.
- Bellevue Family 4th: With another dazzling Bellevue Family 4th coming up, complete with live music and family entertainment, residents are reminded leave the fireworks to the professionals.
- Tree Giveaway: Applications for Bellevue’s fifth annual Tree Giveaway open July 25, and updates to this year’s application process will help ensure we increase tree canopy in underserved areas of the city.
