Bellevue Fire Department investigators have completed their preliminary on-site examination of the Bellevue AutoNation structure fire that occurred on Saturday, April 25. Fire Investigators have determined the suspected "area of origin" of the fire but will continue to examine potential sources of ignition.
At this time there have been no indications or findings of any arson or criminal activity at this fire scene.
The property has been released back to the property owners for demolition and debris removal.
The Bellevue Fire Department will continue to evaluate all of the evidence found on the scene as well as information that has been provided by witnesses to the events that took place on April 25 and prior to the fire. This is a normal course of investigation for all large incidents.
