Join City of Bellevue staff on Saturday, April 27, or Wednesday, May 1, for guided walking tours of downtown. The 9 a.m. tours are part of the public outreach for the ongoing Downtown Livabilita Initiative. Staff is seeking public input as the Land Use Code for downtown is updated.
The tours will explore the evolution of downtown as a place for jobs, residents and visitors -- highlighting some of the emerging neighborhoods, public gathering spaces and future development opportunities there. Walkers may choose from a north or south walking route on either day.
Walking tours are open to the public, last two and a half hours and include a stop for coffee and conversation. The tours meet at City Hall plaza, outside entrance, 450 110th Ave. NE. If it's raining, bring a poncho or umbrella as the walks will go on rain or shine.
Please RSVP to Julie Ellenhorn (425-452-5372 or jellenhorn@bellevuewa.gov).
