The City of Bellevue is establishing a forum where people from the private and public sectors can gather to exchange ideas and advise the city on how technology and innovation supports opportunity, equity, mobility and economic development.
Participants in this ongoing forum will provide input to Bellevue staff on topics such as:
• Prioritization of city innovation projects
• Input and insights on policy development
• Assessing emerging technologies for equity and community impacts
• Supporting community education opportunities and digital equity
• Enhancing Bellevue as a place where innovators want to grow their businesses and test their ideas
• Growing innovative partnerships
The city will formally launch the forum in 2025, but is seeking to gather input on the priorities and vision for this forum through a short survey. Deadline to respond is Friday, Nov. 22.
The public is also invited to a preview and brainstorming session for the forum on Monday, Nov. 14, 6-8 p.m. in City Hall. Details and registration, which is required, are at Inclusive Innovation Forum.
Based on this early input, the city will host several facilitated Inclusive Innovation conversations in 2025 open to the public.
