The Bellevue Human Services Commission will hold a hybrid public hearing on housing and human services needs in Bellevue 6 p.m. Monday, May 5.
The information collected at the hearing, along with other methods of community outreach, will inform the development of the 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) annual action plan. This information will also be considered during development of upcoming funding recommendations, including the 2026 CDBG allocations.
Bellevue’s human services function supports viable and thriving communities by funding services, principally for low- and moderate-income people, that address the most significant gaps and disparities for Bellevue residents, such as food security, homelessness prevention and outreach, health services, behavioral health services, and support for marginalized community members including youth, older adults and those with disabilities.
The May 5 Human Services Commission agenda will be available on the Human Services Commission calendar on May 1 with details on how to access the hybrid hearing.
Written comments submitted to the Human Services Commission at humanservicescommission@bellevuewa.gov will be accepted between April 17 and noon on May 5.
