• High wind warning prompts ice rink closure

    With a high wind warning from the National Weather Service in effect, the Downtown Ice Rink is closed today (Thursday). The rink will reopen Friday at 3 pm.

    The Weather Service issued the warning Wednesday for Washington, 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday. In King County, the stiffest winds were expected in the afternoon, with possible 60-mph gusts.

    As of 2 p.m., less than 100 outages had been reported in Bellevue, according to Puget Sound Energy. If you do lose power, report it to PSE.
