In partnership with Bellevue College, the City of Bellevue will host a forum on how citywide resources can be leveraged to celebrate the community’s thriving diversity. The event, free and open to all residents, will be on Saturday, June 30, 9:30 a.m. to noon at Bellevue College, C Building (3000 Landerholm Circle SE).
In addition to participating in the forum, community members are encouraged to take an online survey. The survey will be open through July 15 and is available in English, Chinese (simplified and traditional), Hindi, Russian and Spanish. Initial community feedback will be discussed at the June 30 forum.
The forum (flyer) is part of a larger conversation about how to utilize current community resources and facilities for an array of cultural opportunities. Over the past several decades, Bellevue has grown from a quiet suburb into a dynamic, international and multicultural city. The city is now one of the most diverse in the state, with over 50 percent of residents being people of color.
