Cold weather is expected to continue in Bellevue for the next few days, with nighttime temperatures dipping into the 20s, according to the National Weather Service’s Seattle office. The city is monitoring forecasts and responding as needed.

- Cold weather shelters: The shelters listed below are available but please call ahead to confirm space. Addresses and hours are available on the city’s Shelters and Day Centers webpage.
- Women: Sophia Way, call Megan at 425-5020-6099 (8 beds).
- Younger adults: Friends of Youth, call 425-449-3868 (6 beds).
- Men: Congregations for the Homeless, call 425-502-9958 for overflow shelter space.
- Families: Mary’s Place, call 206-245-1026.
- Warming centers: Bellevue’s community centers can provide places to stay warm during cold weather during their operating hours.
- Available community centers: South Bellevue, 14509 SE Newport Way; Crossroads, 16000 NE 10th Street. Check the community centers webpage for hours and phone numbers.
- Libraries: King County Libraries offer another option for staying warm. Branches in Bellevue include Bellevue, 1111 110th Ave. NE; Crossroads, 15606 NE 8th Street; Lake Hills, 15590 Lake Hills Blvd.; Newport Way, 14250 SE Newport Way.
- Malls: For many residents, shopping malls such as Bellevue Square, Crossroads Mall, and the Marketplace at Factoria can serve as a place to warm up.
- Transportation: Street maintenance crews Monday night sprayed an anti-icer solution on pavement at locations known to ice up, such as bridges and overpasses. Please watch for black ice and slow down.
- Garbage service: No impacts or delays to garbage service are anticipated through the week. Republic Services will publish service updates at RepublicBellevue.com.
- To prevent frozen and broken pipes, wrap outside pipes with insulation (available at hardware stores) and let cold water drip from faucets. If you have a broken pipe, call 425-452-7840.
