Iveria, an internationally acclaimed Georgian national song and dance ensemble from St. Petersburg, Russia, will present a free outreach program at the Crossroads Community Center on Monday, March 25, 10:30-11:30 a.m.
The program will feature Cossack dance and song from the nation of Georgia with demonstrations and audience participation. Iveria's aim is to familiarize audiences with Georgian folk music and share information to promote respect for all cultures.
The event is sponsored by the Kirkland Performance Center and hosted by Bellevue Parks & Community Services Cultural Diversity Program. The event is especially suited for families with young children and is open to all ages.
