In preparation for the installation of large-capacity sewer pipes for a growing downtown, Bellevue Utilities will do work at the intersection of Bellevue Way Southeast and 112th Avenue Southeast, necessitating the closure of a lane June 22-26.
From 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each of those five days, the right northbound lane of Bellevue Way will be closed at that intersection. The left northbound lane and the northbound right turn lane will remain open there.
Sewer work beginning in July to create traffic impacts for months
Beginning July 7 and continuing into early 2016, 112th Avenue Southeast will be reduced from four lanes to two for installation of large sewer pipes. Two Bellefield sewer construction projects will reduce traffic to one lane in each direction at varying segments from Bellevue Way to north of Southeast Eighth Street (Surrey Downs Park).
