Open house and survey launch on March 3
The City of Bellevue is launching a survey and hosting a community open house this week to involve residents and stakeholders in its plan to pursue bold environmental initiatives through a strategic update of the Environmental Stewardship Initiative.
The open house is a drop-in event on Tuesday, March 3, 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Interlake High School. The event will include opportunities to:
- See the current draft actions being considered and developed;
- Share your ideas and input for how the city can promote sustainability; and
- Discuss your priorities in small group conversations.
Light refreshments will be served. Please register to attend.
A survey to collect community input and priorities also launches on March 3 at Engaging Bellevue. You can learn more about the current stewardship plan details as well as find a list of additional community engagement events scheduled through April at Environmental Stewardship Update.
The Environmental Stewardship Plan serves as the city's road map for reducing greenhouse gas emissions and securing our future as a healthy, livable, sustainable, and prosperous city in a park.
