For the first time, Bellevue's population is evenly split between non-Hispanic whites and people of a minority race or ethnicity, according to the latest estimates from the U.S. Census Bureau.

This milestone for the city is the front-page story of the fall/winter issue of It's Your City, which just recently hit your doorstep (and now available online). Other top stories include::
- The start of East Link construction in South Bellevue (as early as January);
- A successful effort to preserve affordable housing at Highland Village apartments;
- The GIX groundbreaking in the Spring District; and
