Cultural Conversations begins a new season of storytelling and connection during National Welcoming Week and celebrates this year's Welcoming Week theme, #WhereWeBelong. The program returns to in-person gathering Tuesday, Sept. 13, 1-2:30 p.m. at the Crossroads Community Center located at 16000 Northeast 10th Street, Bellevue, Wash.
The #WhereWeBelong theme focuses on discovering the places that foster belonging, how and why belonging occurs and how to welcome those newly arrived. Enjoy tea and table conversation, as you participate in interactive exercises and storytelling, exploring what you’ve learned during the past two years of pandemic and what practices for gathering and welcoming work best today. Be a "welcomer" and invite a new friend.
As this meeting is in person, we will continue to honor your safety preferences during the COVID-19 pandemic. Masks will be available.
Cultural Conversations, a program entering its thirteenth season, has transformed relationships and perspectives among diverse women in our community through education and storytelling.
