Bellevue Utilities crews responded to a 6-inch water main break early Wednesday morning, March 5, on the 900 block of 110th Avenue Southeast.
Bellevue Fire received the initial call via 911 at 3 a.m., and began shutting off water mains in the area. Three homes had water damage, and crews are contacting other residents in the Surrey Downs neighborhood to determine if there was any other damage.
There were 23 homes without water. Crews expect to have water restored by the end of the day Wednesday and are replacing 18 feet of water main. Traffic impacts are minimal, with a local detour, while crews continue to work. The cause of the break is not known at this time.
