Bellevue Utilities is making improvements needed to increase sewer capacity to meet growth demands and to replace aging infrastructure. Construction activities will begin Feb. 26 and last through December.
Impacts from the project:
Traffic:
- March - June: 114th Avenue Southeast, partial and complete road closures at times between Main Street and Southeast 8th Street for four months during sewer pipe installation and paving.
- May - September: Westbound Southeast 8th Street, curb lane closed during construction.

Noise:
- May: Pile driving from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for installation of sewer pipes along SE 8th Street will generate noise.
