A bomb cyclone windstorm lashed Bellevue the night of Tuesday, Nov. 19, bringing down trees throughout the city and leaving hundreds of thousands without power. Most city facilities have power but some are on modified hours or closed due to power outages. Construction causing lane closures on 120th Avenue Northeast between Northeast Fourth and Eighth streets will be halted from mid-November to February due to winter weather and the holiday shopping season.

Construction equipment will remain along 120th Avenue Northeast during the construction shutdown, but all lanes will be open.

The city may perform some minor maintenance and a Bellevue School District project will continue in the area during this time frame, but these activities are not expected to affect traffic along the 120th Avenue corridor.
