Northeast Bellevue residents will have the opportunity to preview Neighborhood Enhancement Program (NEP) projects proposed for their area on Tuesday, Sept.12, 6-8 p.m., at an open house in the Sherwood Forest Elementary School gym, 16411 NE 24th St.
Attendees can expect to learn more about the types and locations of the nearly 100 project ideas that were submitted for consideration, as well as the process for project selection and development. Participants will also be able to discuss the proposed ballot projects with city staff and offer direct feedback.
The selection process will continue into October, when each household in the Northeast Bellevue neighborhood area will receive an NEP ballot to select three projects to be funded with the $307,000 NEP allocation.
The NEP pages offer more information about the program and the proposed Northeast Bellevue ballot projects. Residents can also learn more by contacting Ying Carlson, community relations coordinator, at 425-452-4342 or ycarlson@bellevuewa.gov.
