Nonprofit organizations offering Bellevue residents rental assistance, food assistance and behavioral health support can apply for funding from the City of Bellevue, as the city receives an additional round of federal Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act allocations.
The city is accepting applications through Feb. 1 for Community Development Block Grant public services projects that prevent, prepare for or respond to the coronavirus. Organizations must indicate a clear connection between the service and COVID-19 in their applications.
The notice of funding availability was released Monday. Applications are due by 5 p.m., Monday, Feb. 1. For more information, please contact grant coordinator Dee Dee Catalano (dcatalano@bellevuewa.gov).
The city will receive $897,287 as part of the third round of federal block grant allocations.
