Lane closures on Bellevue Way and I-90 ramp closures continue for East Link construction. Details about the following closures are described in detail in Sound Transit’s August 16 construction alert.

August 19 through 20/Lane and HOV ramp closure: Bellevue Way Southeast will be reduced to one northbound lane starting 5:30 a.m. on Saturday August 19 through 9 p.m. on Sunday August 20. The eastbound I-90 ramp to Bellevue Way Southeast will also be closed. Westbound I-90 to northbound Bellevue Way Southeast will be open. Vehicle access and parking at the temporary Mercer Slough parking lot will not be available. Sidewalk closures; seek alternate routes. Details and map included in August 16 construction alert.

August 12 through 21/HOV ramp closure: The Bellevue Way Southeast to westbound I-90 HOV ramp remains closed through Monday, August 21 at 3 p.m. Work hours are anticipated to be from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Expect heavy equipment and truck traffic. Weekday, daytime intermittent lane closures will be necessary on 112th Avenue Southeast and Bellevue Way SE.

No closures are planned for the weekends of August 25-26 and September 2-3.

Closures are expected to continue into November 2017.
Commuters are encouraged to plan for alternate routes and are asked not to drive through neighborhoods to reach their destination.
