Bellevue Utilities invites the public to learn about its proposed capital investment projects for the next 10 years at upcoming open house events. These projects support Bellevue’s essential drinking water, wastewater, and storm and surface water services – including the replacement of aging pipes, pumps and reservoirs as well as the construction of new ones to support Bellevue’s growing population and environmental needs.
Drop-in open houses
- Monday, April 15 at Mini City Hall, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Wednesday, April 17 at Mini City Hall,11 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Thursday, April 18 at City Hall, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Live and recorded presentation
A live presentation will be held on Thursday, April 18 at City Hall, 5:30-6:30 p.m. A recorded presentation will be available online starting April 15.
Provide comment and/or feedback now through April 19
The public is welcome to email comments and/or feedback to bshaha@bellevuewa.gov. The input collected will be presented to and reviewed by the Environmental Services Commission (ESC) at its next meeting on May 2. The commission advises the City Council on utility-related issues, including capital project financing.
The ESC will provide its recommendation in September regarding Utilities capital projects. The finalized 2025-2034 Utilities CIP plan will be presented to the City Council for final action in November.

When Bellevue residents pay their utility bill, they are supporting the system that delivers essential utility services. On average, about one-third of each dollar paid is for capital investment projects.
