Starting June 13, a portion of 110th Avenue Northeast between Northeast Fourth and Sixth streets will be closed as Sound Transit's contractor for the East Link light rail tunnel prepares the soil beneath the roadway for tunneling. City Hall, at 450 110th Avenue Northeast, will continue to be accessible.
During the closure, visitors to City Hall will only be able to enter the visitor parking lot from the northbound lane on 110th Avenue or traveling eastbound from Northeast Sixth Street. Customers are to exit onto Northeast Sixth Street.

From mid-June to late July, all lanes in both directions of 110th Avenue will be closed from Northeast Sixth Street to the garage entrance of the City Center Plaza building (555 110th Avenue NE). From late July to early September, one southbound lane on 110th Avenue Northeast will open. The closure is necessary to replace the current soil underneath the roadway with a denser material more appropriate to tunnel through.
Pedestrians accessing City Hall are encouraged to use the sidewalk on the east side of 110th Avenue Northeast.
The Bellevue Transit Center will remain open during the road closures. For alternative transportation options, visit www.ChooseYourWayBellevue.org. To sign up to receive East Link construction alerts, go to www.SoundTransit.org/Eastlink.
