Early on June 10 Bellevue Police served search warrants in Burien and Des Moines, and recovered $65,000 worth of jewelry that was stolen from the Bellevue Square Nordstrom's in December. A vehicle involved in the crime was also seized. There were no arrests, although charges in the case are forthcoming.
On Dec. 28, at approximately 4 a.m., Bellevue Square Nordstrom's was burglarized. The thieves drove a pickup truck through the front door and used tools to break open the jewelry cases before fleeing the scene with more than $200,000 in jewelry.
Bellevue detectives have previously filed charges on four adults related to this incident, serving several search warrants and recovering $40,000 in stolen jewelry.
