• This project will construct new sidewalk along 110th Avenue SE between SE 1st Street and Main Street. It was identified as a strategy to improve pedestrian access to and from the East Main light rail station by the East Main Citizen Advisory Committee as part of the East Main Station Area Plan (approved by City Council in August 2016).

    Benefits

    The new sidewalk will create a continuous walking path away from traffic for people to get in and out of the Surrey Downs neighborhood.

    Construction dates are subject to change due to weather and material procurement.

    Funding

    This project is funded by Community Development’s Station Area Planning budget. The estimated cost is $175,000.
