- Everyone! All cast members and parents will be expected to attend the first rehearsal unless excused by the director.
- Cast member attendance: All actors are required to attend the first two rehearsals.
- Theatre is a team commitment. The rehearsal process and production week can be very time consuming. This should be your main extracurricular activity. When you or your child miss a rehearsal, it impacts the entire cast.
- How often will I rehearse?
- 2-3 times per week to start. Will increase closer to performance time.
- Unexcused conflicts will result in loss of lines, role, and/or affect future casting.
- What is the cost?
- Participation is free for Bellevue residents. Non-Bellevue residents pay $150. You will also be asked to provide jazz shoes for your child.
- What if my child is ill?
- At this time, we are requesting that if your child is feeling ill (or missed any other activity during the day due to illness), that they do not attend BYT until they feel better. Children sent to BYT with symptoms of illness may be sent home.
