Conducted every two years by an interdepartmental team within the city organization in partnership with an outside vendor, the business survey addresses Bellevue's key metrics, taxation and attitudes about starting, operating and owning a business in Bellevue.
The survey also includes general questions about safety, transportation and other areas affecting businesses in Bellevue. It is designed to give a statistically-significant view into business satisfaction. The city conducts other community surveys to identify resident budget priorities and opinion of city services and performance.
Survey reports, now displayed in an interactive dashboard, are typically available by the autumn of the year in which the survey is completed.
