Bellevue presents Black History Month art exhibit at City Hall
The City of Bellevue will host an opening reception Wednesday, Feb. 19, 6-8 p.m., at City Hall, 450 110th Ave. NE., for "Voices Unbounded," an art exhibit featuring the work of 21 Pacific Northwest Black artists.
Originally scheduled for Feb. 5, the reception was postponed because of inclement weather. Registration Is requested. If you registered for the Feb. 5 event, you still must register this time.
In celebration of Black History Month, the city is hosting the exhibit at City Hall in February and March. MG2 architect Jay Taylor curated the exhibit, which includes paintings, photography, sculptures, textiles and fashion.
Visitors can view the exhibit during business hours, 8 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Friday, and evenings when City Hall is open for public meetings or events.
