Bellevue young people will take the virtual stage Friday, March 4, to perform cultural dances, spoken word and other forms of artistic expression during Bellevue Youth Link’s “Unique and United” event.
The event, 6-7:30 p.m. via Zoom, celebrates Bellevue's growing diversity. Bellevue Youth Link is a leadership program sponsored by the Parks & Community Service Department and Bellevue Public Schools.
“Bellevue is one of the most diverse cities in the state,” said Parks & Community Services Director Michael Shiosaki. “Nearly 100 languages are spoken by students in the Bellevue School District, and we want to celebrate the vibrancy and strength of our diverse community.”
The event is open to all members of the public and preregistration is required.
