The City Council invites residents to apply for a vacancy on the Transportation Commission, which advises city leaders on transportation planning, projects, traffic standards and funding strategies. Interested residents can apply online by Friday, July 11.
The commission plays a critical role in shaping Bellevue’s multimodal transportation system and ensuring policies reflect community needs and values. Commissioners meet monthly on the second Thursday at 6:30 p.m., with additional meetings as needed on the fourth Thursday.
Who Can Apply?
Applicants must be residents of Bellevue. Commissioners are appointed by the mayor with council approval and serve four-year terms on a volunteer basis. Bellevue residents of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply. The City of Bellevue values diversity and inclusion in all aspects of civic life.

For those who prefer a paper application, copies can be picked up at the City Clerk’s Office or Service First at City Hall, as well as the Bellevue Library, the Lake Hills Library or Mini City Hall. Applications may be submitted online or by any of the options below:
