The City Council is accepting applications to fill a vacancy on the Planning Commission. Interested community members who live in Bellevue are encouraged to apply online by 5 p.m., Friday, Oct. 24.
The Planning Commission advises the council on updates to the Comprehensive Plan and reviews land use regulations, ordinances and related policy matters. The commission typically meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m., with occasional special meetings as needed.
Commissioners are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the council to serve four-year volunteer terms. Service on boards and commissions offers community members a meaningful way to help shape Bellevue’s future.

Applicants must live in Bellevue. The city values and encourages participation from community members of all backgrounds and experiences.
