Annual celebration of health and community takes place Jan. 16
The City of Bellevue invites the public to the 2023 Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration and Health Fair, an event to encourage holistic wellbeing and “reinvesting in health.”
The online event encourages reflection, engagement and action in building a beloved, healthy and thriving Bellevue in the spirit of the Rev. King’s legacy of equity and community. The city’s long-time community partner, the Bellevue Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., will again co-produce the annual event on MLK Day (Monday, Jan. 16), 10-11:30 a.m.
The MLK Health Fair will share health and community resources, showcase a sampling of Black-owned businesses, feature guest speakers, performances and more. Specific program details will be added to the event webpage as they are confirmed. Register to attend.
The health fair is open to the general public and free of cost. For more event information, please contact diversity@bellevuewa.gov or 425-452-7886 (voice).
