Hiring bonus for new and rehired city beach and pool lifeguards
Bellevue is hiring up to 60 lifeguards for work at six beach parks and the Bellevue Aquatic Center this summer. The positions offer flexible hours in the sun with a chance to have a positive impact on peoples’ lives. Application
Lifeguards need to have an active American Red Cross lifeguard certification and must be 15 or older to work at the Bellevue Aquatic Center and 16 or older to work at Bellevue’s beach parks.
The Aquatic Center will refund the $75 lifeguard certification course fee for applicants who take the training course at the Aquatic Center and are hired as Bellevue lifeguards. Call 425-452-4444 to sign up for the training.
The typical rate starts at $17.25, and will go up based on experience and position. Additionally, all new and rehired lifeguards are eligible to receive an initial $75 hiring bonus with a chance to earn up to another $175 based upon the number of hours worked.
